This news is about cycling. There is a project which focuses on sharing bikes. It is a non-profit project called “Rekola”. Nowadays, it is getting more and more popular not only in Brno.
Thanks to this project, you can borrow a bike, use it and then return it anywhere in the city. But how can you recognize the bike which you can rent? Well, those bikes are pink!
Why is it so attractive and special? There are many aspects which make this project very successful. Firstly, it is not very expensive. Secondly, it is very easy to find a bike and borrow it. You only need to make a registration and get a smartphone application. The application is very user-friendly.
To this date, almost three hundred people take part in the project. There are between 15 and 25 bikes available in Brno. But organizers want to have 60 bikes available.
“We want to make this project more available for people and improve the traffic jam in the city,” the project organizers say.

“We hope to attract more participants to the project and improve the overall traffic in the city,” the project organizers claim.
